Jiufen Old Street, known as the "Golden Mountain City", was once prosperous due to gold mines. Now it attracts tourists from all over the world with its unique slope landscape and nostalgic buildings. Walking in the winding alleys, you can feel the strong historical atmosphere, as if you have returned to that golden age.

In Jiufen Old Street, in addition to tasting a variety of authentic snacks such as taro balls, meat balls and grass cakes, you can also look for antiques and souvenirs with Taiwanese characteristics in the small shops. Every step is an adventure and every corner holds surprises, which makes me feel excited and expectant.

What impressed me most here was the local tea culture. Walking into the teahouse, sipping tea with exquisite pastries, and enjoying the quietness and tranquility, I can temporarily escape from the hustle and bustle and quietly feel the charm of Jiufen. The Shengping Theater here is also worth a visit. The retro decoration and the atmosphere of old movies made me relive those good times.

As for transportation, I took a bus from Taipei to Jiufen. The scenery along the way was picturesque and refreshing. Jiufen Old Street is open from 08:00 to 22:00 on Sundays, and from 08:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Thursday. It is extended to 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays to facilitate travelers to plan their trips.

Jiufen Old Street is not only a tourist attraction, but also a spiritual sustenance. Here, I felt the weight of history and tasted the infinite charm of food. I look forward to my next visit to continue exploring this mountain city full of stories. 💖🌄
