This year's theme is "A golden dragon sleeps underground in Jiufen."
A 20-meter "dragon made of lanterns" will be enshrined on the light road,
producing a fantastic arch of light.

A corridor of light with a 1.20-meter dragon
Red lanterns lined up along the light road stand tall in the shape of a "dragon." The sight of nostalgia and modernity intersecting is overwhelming!
2. Praying Fields, Lottery Lanterns, and Night-Colored Jiufen
"Praying Fields" at Wufankeng Park:
A field of lanterns with lanterns to make wishes
"Lottery Lanterns" at Jinshanyan:
A love-making spot that combines Yuelao and digital technology

3. Night Walks & Lots of Special Offers
On the opening day on 6/14, free handheld lanterns will be distributed in front of Shengping Theater (100 lanterns each x 2 times) .
"Lantern Night Tour" with a local guide (held on weekends, advance registration required):
Participants will receive a voucher for "Akan'yaoyuan" .

🕶Recommended route
1. Get in the town in the evening!
Arrive in Jiufen around 17:30◎.
The atmosphere when the lights start to light up on the light road is the best!
2.18:00 Head to the lighting ceremony
Small lanterns are distributed in front of Shengping Theater (line up early to get one!)
After that, take a photogenic night walk with a handheld lantern.
3. Tour the Dragon Corridor and photo spots
Walk from the light road to Wupankeng, Jinshanyan, and Shuqi Road.
Tour each photogenic area and experience tying a wish tag to the "Fortune Wall".
4. Enjoy local food and a cup of tea at a food stall
Enjoy food from the food stalls, such as taro dumplings and peanut ice cream rolls, in the old street that is open until late at night, and take a break at a tea shop with terrace seating.
5. On weekends, take a guided "Lantern Night Tour" (18:00-19:30)
Dig deeper with a local guide in the form of a story.
You'll also get a limited edition souvenir, so you'll be very satisfied.
6. On the way back, head to Ruifang Night Market
Go down to Ruifang and finish off with some local noodles and desserts at the night market.
Feel full before heading back to Taipei.
