Jiuzhaigou is stunning year-round, but I recommend you to go in autumn (September–November) because it is especially famous for its vibrant fall foliage, when you can see the reflection of mountains and trees in the valley.
If you have time it is recommended to travel for 3 days at minimum to fully enjoy the valley without feeling rushed
Travel itinerary:
Day 1 - Jiuzhai Valley (Explore the Main Scenic Areas)
	•	Start early and take the Jiuzhaigou eco-bus to save time.
	•	Visit Shuzheng Valley: Shuzheng Lakes, Nuorilang Waterfall, and Sparkling Lake.
	•	Explore Rize Valley: Five Flower Lake, Panda Lake, and Pearl Shoal Waterfall.
	•	Catch the sunset at Mirror Lake, where the reflection is stunning.
Day 2 - Jiuzhai Valley (Deeper Exploration + Hiking)
	•	Visit Zechawa Valley, home to Long Lake (the highest and largest lake).
	•	See the Five Color Pond, known for its incredible water hues.
	•	Take light hikes to hidden spots for fewer crowds.
	•	Experience Tibetan culture in a local village.
Day 3 - Huanglong Scenic Area or Local Exploration
	•	Option 1: Visit Huanglong National Park, famous for its colorful terraced pools. It’s a day trip from Jiuzhaigou.
	•	Option 2: Relax and explore local Tibetan villages, enjoy Tibetan food, and shop for souvenirs.
