Pulai Springs Resort, Johor Bahru

Value for money, cozy and peaceful resort in the heart of Johor, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were friendly, facilities were ok. There are sufficient eateries and activities to do for the family within the resort itself. If not, it is within 30-45mins drive to nearby malls. Loved the swimming pools.
Two main downsides were: Food-wise - Room service for food was not available 24 hours, or at least till 12am. 2 of the eateries close at 5pm on weekdays. Surrounding areas had construction going on (either a new project or extension of the resort? So, the rustic ambience was reduced as opposed to maybe 1 or 2 years ago.
