#summervacay We visited Little Bun in Taman Eco Botanic and appreciated its calm, minimalist vibe. The space is bright and clean, with white walls and light wooden accents that give it a subtle Korean bakery feel—simple and inviting.
One of the highlights is how they steam their brioches fresh right at the counter. Watching the process adds a nice layer to the experience, and the buns come out incredibly soft and warm, with a delicate, slightly sweet crumb that’s very different from typical oven-baked bread.
We tried their scrambled egg croissant first—flaky, buttery layers wrapped around creamy, well-seasoned scrambled eggs. It’s straightforward but done well. The matcha red bean mochi steamed brioche was more unique. The bun itself was light and airy, with a gentle matcha aroma. Inside, the chewy mochi paired nicely with smooth, mildly sweet red bean paste, creating a nice balance of textures and flavors without being too heavy or overly sweet.
Besides the steamed buns, they also offer sourdough loaves and a handful of savory options like pasta and soup, but the steamed brioches feel like the centerpiece here.
Little Bun isn’t flashy or loud — it’s a quiet spot where the focus is on quality and simplicity. If you’re in the area and want something comforting and thoughtfully made, it’s worth a visit.
