🥮 Dessert & Kopi Bliss at Oriental Kopi, AEON Mall Bukit Indah

While shopping at AEON Mall Bukit Indah, we stumbled upon Chateraise—Japan’s beloved pastry brand. The whole family loves their treats, and we’ve even enjoyed them straight from their outlets in Japan. Naturally, we couldn’t resist stopping by to see how this Malaysian branch compared, especially in price.
We were slightly disappointed to find that the prices weren’t significantly cheaper than Singapore—only marginally so. Still, we indulged in some of our favourites. The mango Swiss roll remains a family staple—soft sponge with just the right touch of cream and sweet mango. Personally, I’m a huge fan of their cream puff pastries—crispy, airy shells with luscious custard cream inside.
I asked the staff whether their pastries were imported from Japan and was told yes, which explains the familiar quality and taste. So if you’re a fan of Chateraise in Singapore, this branch will feel just like home—only with a slightly smaller dent in your wallet.
