I had a wonderful business stay at Atelier Hotel Johor Bahru, an affordable boutique hotel that truly exceeded my expectations. The industrial-chic design, warm lighting, and peaceful vibe of the lobby — complete with a mini indoor fountain, made it feel modern yet cozy, a pleasant surprise for such a laid-back property.
The hotel also offers a relaxing courtyard and a rooftop terrace with lovely city views, great for unwinding after a long day.
My room was clean, with a comfortable bed and strong air conditioning that made it easy to relax after the heat outside. What really stood out were the little touches, like the shower gel and shampoo that smelled absolutely delightful —almost like a mini spa experience.
The location was another big plus, with plenty of eateries nearby. I especially enjoyed dinner with my co-workers at Me & My Roro, my favourite Japanese restaurant just around the corner.
