🌿 A Relaxing Stay at Atelier Hotel, Johor Bahru – My Weekend Getaway 🌇

Last weekend, I took a quick getaway to Johor Bahru, and decided to stay at Atelier Hotel, a charming little boutique hotel nestled in Taman Pelangi. I wasn’t expecting much—but I was pleasantly surprised!

🛏️ Check-In & First Impressions
The moment I stepped into the lobby, I loved the minimalist yet cozy interior. The staff were super friendly and efficient. I booked a Deluxe Queen Room, and the space was clean, quiet, and stylish—with thoughtful touches like a work desk, a comfy sofa, and a mini-fridge. The large windows let in beautiful natural light during the day.

📍 Location, Location, Location!
The best part? The location. Atelier is within walking distance to local cafés, street food, and even a night market. I had a fantastic dinner at a nearby grill bar just 5 minutes away. In the morning, I grabbed coffee and kaya toast from a local kopitiam around the corner.

🧭 Exploring Johor Bahru
Since the hotel is pretty central, I spent the next day exploring nearby attractions:

Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque – a stunning historical building about 10 minutes’ drive away. Johor Bahru City Square – great for shopping and food. Wong Ah Fook Street – perfect for street photography and local snacks! I also took a Grab to JB Chinese Heritage Museum, which was very insightful.

🌟 Final Thoughts
Atelier Hotel turned out to be the perfect base for a chill weekend. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, quiet, and well-located—ideal for solo travelers, couples, or even short business trips.

Would I stay here again? Definitely. Especially for the price—it’s great value!

If you're looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable place in JB with easy access to everything, I totally recommend checking out Atelier Hotel Johor Bahru!

📌 Save this for your next JB trip!
