This is the Shimazu family villa built in 1658. With views of Kinko Bay, the majestic Sakurajima, and beautiful gardens, it is one of Kagoshima's most popular tourist destinations. There is also a souvenir shop and a sweets shop on-site, so you can relax and unwind. This area was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2015 as part of the "Meiji Industrial Revolution Heritage Sites of Japan."
