Kagoshima Senganen Garden

Kagoshima Sengan-en Garden is located about a 20-minute drive from JR Chuo Station in Kagoshima. Tickets cost about NT$250 on-site. Due to language barriers and inability to read Japanese, we quickly decided to purchase our tickets online through Trip.com, which converted the cost to less than NT$200. Within 10 minutes of completing our online order, a QR code for our tickets was emailed to us.
Using the QR code, our group of four entered the interior of Sengan-en Rock. Our ticket also included a ticket to the Imperial Palace. I personally think this attraction offers at least half a day's enjoyment at this price, making it a great value. There's also a restaurant selling their signature snowflake ice cream and local specialties, perfect for picking up some unique souvenirs.

Sengan-en Garden also has a back garden, but we didn't have enough time to explore it! This attraction is incredibly worthwhile!

In conclusion, a visit to Sengan-en Garden is highly recommended for any visit to Kagoshima; it truly makes the most of your visit to Japan's southernmost destination. #Kagoshima
