Kagoshima Aquarium is located next to the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal in Kagoshima. It is the largest aquarium in Kyushu and one of the popular attractions in Kagoshima! The museum mainly displays marine life in Kagoshima Bay and along the coast, with a total of 500 species and 30,000 marine creatures.
The most impressive thing is the Kuroshio Sea on the second floor. The Kuroshio Sea is a giant water tank where you can see huge whale sharks and manta rays. Combined with the environment inside the museum, it feels like being in the sea, which is unforgettable!
The design of the Jellyfish Corridor is also very exquisite. The transparent jellyfish and the ever-changing lighting can easily create a beautiful wallpaper-like effect.
The fifth floor is an observation space for travelers to rest. Standing here, you can directly see the magnificent Sakurajima. It is highly recommended to come!
