Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

#tripbestfreeaccommodation
I was bored on vacation but didn't want to go anywhere far. I wanted to relax, have breakfast, sip afternoon tea, and relax at the hotel's club lounge.
Plus, I wanted to try this hotel out. I saw many reviews, so I decided to book. The hotel wasn't running any promotions at the moment, so the price was normal.

I booked an Executive Room, and the hotel offered me an upgrade to an Executive Suite right at check-in (I don't have GHA status). Check-in was quick. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 AM and was immediately shown to my room.

(After booking, the hotel sent me an email to inquire about my stay and my arrival time.)

I think the front desk staff, including the bellboys, were very helpful from the moment I got off the bus.

Let's take a look at the room. The highlight here is the room size. The entry-level rooms are about 70-80 square meters.

The Suite I stayed in was about 95 square meters, which is quite spacious enough to stay all day without feeling cramped.

The hotel's Executive Lounge is divided into three main sections: Afternoon Tea, Evening Cocktails and Canapes, and Breakfast.

Afternoon Tea offers a wide variety of drinks, but not too much or too little. Unfortunately, there's no mocktail selection. There's no special tea, just regular tea.

Evening Cocktails and Canapes are average, with no special menu items. It focuses more on fried food.

Guests booking Executive Rooms and above will have breakfast at De La Mer restaurant.

There's a special breakfast menu, which the restaurant downstairs doesn't offer.

De La Mer Specials include seven main dishes and a limited glass of sparkling wine.

New breakfast menu items:

Crab Meat Omelette
Brittany Scallop Benedict
Yellowtail Tuna Tartine
Truffled Egg Benedict
Egg Royal De La Mer
Croque Monsieur
Avocado Tartine

However, there are no food stations at the club. You order each dish individually, as shown in the menu.
