This year, we celebrated our grandmother’s birthday at Restaurant Fui Chuai (Jalan Semenyih) and it was the perfect choice for a big family dinner. 💕

If you’re from Kajang, you’ve probably heard of Fui Chuai — their main branch in Sungai Chua is already a household name. The Semenyih branch is newer, bigger, and beautifully renovated with more parking space too! 🚗

🎤 Private Rooms & Karaoke Fun
They’ve got elegant private rooms (with karaoke machines 🎶) that can comfortably fit 20+ people — perfect for small family gatherings. And if you’re planning something bigger like a wedding banquet, their main hall can host more than at least 150 guests.

🍷 Food & Atmosphere
As a more upscale Chinese restaurant, the prices are higher, but so is the quality. The dishes are refined and beautifully presented — the kind that reminds you why Chinese cuisine is an art form. 👨🍳 If your family enjoys drinks, they do sell alcohol, or you can bring your own. (We believe corkage fees are waived if your bill is high enough — but we’ll leave that to the alcoholic uncles who drink, while we enjoy tea 🍵).

There are parking jockeys around — they’re already paid by the restaurant, so tipping is totally optional. If that feels awkward, just park a little farther away.

Dress nicely — it’s a fine-dining setting. Don't simply show up in sandals and shorts, especially for a family celebration.

The air-conditioning is strong, so bring a layer if you get cold easily.
