The rainy season is the busiest time at Meigetsuin Temple.
Hydrangeas bloom in abundance, and it is said that there are about 2,500 of them within the temple grounds.
They are so popular that the single hue of the flowers has been given the name Meigetsuin Blue.
The reason for their popularity is that there is a lot to see.
In addition to the hydrangeas,
the "Window of Enlightenment" in the garden is a circular, symbolic representation of the universe.
Any scene, such as the mountain gate, the Kaisando Hall, or the bamboo forest, will look stunning!
