Introducing Chaohu Insect Kingdom

The Insect Kingdom is located on the south bank of Chao Lake, east of the Zhaohe River, adjacent to the Zhaohe Bridge to the west and the Mawei River Ecological Wetland to the north. With a total investment of 58 million yuan in the first phase, the project, themed " Fishermen and Woodcutters in a Peach Blossom Land, Butterflies Dreaming of Water and Clouds , " is a comprehensive insect theme park integrating scientific research, educational programs, and micro-film production. It has been dubbed " Biosphere III . "

The scenic area has built over a dozen diverse pavilions, including the Katydid Pavilion, the Flower and Insect Pavilion, the Mayfly Pavilion, the Fragrance Pavilion, and the Snail Pavilion. In the Fragrance Pavilion, butterflies dance gracefully, and visitors can currently witness the emergence of butterflies from their cocoons .
