Kamakura is a popular tourist destination near Tokyo. With the Enoshima-Kamakura Pass, you can ride the Enoden train and get off at various stops. I went all the way to Kamakura, the last stop, and got off on the way back. I loved Kamakura. Even if you're not interested in Kokomae Station, the mecca of Slam Dunk, it's worth a visit for a quiet getaway. But half a day is too much, so definitely set aside a day!
