Hydrangeas at Meigetsuin Temple

#Travelwithme

Meigetsuin Temple is a famous spot for hydrangeas. Other highlights include the dry landscape garden and the Window of Enlightenment. Even on weekdays, there is a 30-minute line to take photos at the Window of Enlightenment. Last year, I arrived at around 9:30 on a weekday and there were already a lot of people there. 🫣It gets very crowded during the peak season, so I recommend going early in the morning. 📍Meigetsuin Temple Address: 189 Yamanouchi, Kamakura City Opening hours: 9:00 to 16:00 Parking: None Private parking lots are large and reasonably priced, starting from around 500 yen, so I recommend it. Admission fee🎫: 500 yen (the iris garden was an additional 300 yen!) Photo taken: 2023.6.23 (peak bloom)
