Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, is home to many temples and shrines where you can experience beautiful nature and history.
This time, we'll introduce three must-visit spots for stunning views: Hokoku-ji Temple, Myohoji Temple, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine!

[Hokoku-ji Temple]

👆 Also known as Takedera Temple, it's famous for its bamboo grove. Entering the temple grounds feels like another world. The sound of bamboo swaying in the breeze in the tranquil garden is soothing. There's also a teahouse, where you can relax and enjoy matcha green tea and Japanese sweets.
[Myoho-ji Temple]

👆 Commonly known as the Moss Temple, this temple boasts a quiet and tranquil atmosphere. The moss-covered stairs are a spectacular sight. The grounds feature historic stone pagodas and gardens, and seasonal flowers can be enjoyed.
[Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine]

👆 This shrine, associated with the Kamakura Shogunate, boasts a magnificent torii gate and main shrine within its grounds. It's also famous for its cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage, and the steps leading up to the shrine give it a historic feel. Inside the treasure hall, you can see valuable artifacts from the Kamakura period.
