The Kurodake Cable Car is located next to the Sounkyo Hot Spring Street. We bought a cable car + chairlift package, and first took the 7-minute cable car to the fifth station (elevation 1,300 meters). We walked around and took pictures, Kurodake Station. There is a viewing platform on which you can see the vast mountain scenery.

Take the chairlift to the seventh station (elevation 1,520 meters) and take a walk in the air.

The boarding area is not inside the station, you have to walk a short distance from the station to board it. When the service staff saw that we were taking the elderly with us, they would help slow down the speed of getting on the chairlift, which made people feel at ease. The speed and slope of the chairlift are very gentle, and it doesn't look scary. It is very suitable for a whole family to play together.
