Hemu Village in the Altay Mountains of Xinjiang has entered winter early, and the junction of three countries is breathtakingly beautiful!

Hemu Village in the Altai Mountains of Xinjiang is near the borders of Mongolia, Russia and Kazakhstan.

Hemu is the most intact village of the Tuvan people, a branch of the Mongolian ethnic group, in China. Most of the more than 2,000 Tuvans live in wooden houses in this primeval forest.

The small mountain village is located on a flat land surrounded by mountains on all sides, and there are rows of poplars and white birch trees around the village. On the small hillside surrounding Hemu Village, you can overlook the panoramic view of Hemu Village and Hemu River: ghostly empty valleys, flowing water under small bridges, and horse herders passing through the woods raising dust.

The most famous thing about Hemu Village is the rising smoke, which forms a dreamy smoke belt that is better than a fairyland. Winter arrives in October, and the white snow scene surrounding the birch forest is even more beautiful.
