Discover Zen in Kanazawa: Suzuki Daisetsu Museum

The Suzuki Daisetsu Museum was built in memory of Suzuki Daisetsu, who was born in Hondamachi, Kanazawa, studied Buddhist thought, especially Zen, and made the world of Zen known to the world. It was built in 2011 and designed by Yoshio Taniguchi. The museum building itself is worth seeing, as are the exhibits inside.
