Shuanghe Village, located in Qinghua Town, Wuyuan County, retains the same layout as its Tang Dynasty streets. Yue Fei, upon visiting Wuyuan, once wrote in a poem: "The upper and lower streets stretch for five miles, and the green curtains and wine shops connect to the flower-filled bridges." Cycling along the bluestone pavement, passing ancient buildings and shops on both sides, it feels like walking into a well-preserved historical street. A wooden plank bridge still remains on the right side of the village entrance, connecting to the village opposite.
The county is located in the mid-subtropics and has the characteristics of the East Asian monsoon zone. It has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, a short frost period, and distinct four seasons.
