Enter Kanazawa's welcoming gate [Kanazawa Station Drum Gate] 🥁⛩️

When I first came to Kanazawa, the first thing that greeted me was not the old street or the art gallery, but the magnificent "Drum Gate". It stands at the east exit of Kanazawa Station. The 13-meter-high wooden structure looks like a traditional drum and a solemn gate, conveying Kanazawa's enthusiasm and cultural confidence for visitors.

This drum gate symbolizes the traditional art and welcoming spirit of the Kaga region. Combining woodworking technology with modern design, the unique shape makes people can't help but take a few more glances, becoming a landmark that travelers must take in Kanazawa. Especially at night, the lights projected on the wooden structure are more solemn and elegant.

Just behind the drum gate is a water clock square. The fountain under the transparent roof can also display digital time, showing the taste of the city's coexistence of technology and art.

This is not just a station, but more like the city facade of Kanazawa. As soon as people walk out of the station, they can feel the rhythm of culture and the beginning of travel.
