Kanazawa｜The beauty of the flowing water in Kenrokuen Garden

Walking in Kenrokuen Garden, there are always some quiet but stop-and-go scenery. The "Jiangliushuiquan" near Kasumigaike is one of the most poetic corners in my heart. The spring water flows down from the moss and rocks and slowly flows into the pond, like a natural whisper, which makes people hold their breath and listen.

This clear spring comes from the Tatsumi water introduced into the garden, which is an extension of the water system of Kanazawa Castle in the Edo period, symbolizing the deep understanding of "borrowing scenery" and "natural flow" in Japanese gardening. The ancient trees, moss and the sound of the spring are intertwined, as if walking into a hidden ink painting.
