[Ishikawa Prefecture] Kenrokuen, one of Japan's three most famous gardens, reflects the history of the Kaga Domain's one million koku domain

Kenrokuen Garden is one of Japan's three most famous gardens, located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Located in the center of Kanazawa City, it is a stroll-style garden where you can enjoy the beauty of the four seasons, and is one of Kanazawa's top tourist destinations✨

It is a representative feudal lord garden of the Edo period, and is also a historical cultural heritage of Japan that reflects the historical culture of Kaga's million koku domain, which has been shaped over many years by the successive lords of the Kaga domain🥸

I visited this time during the illumination period, which is open for a limited time every year!

The illumination period is limited to certain areas, but the representative snow hangings and autumn leaves were illuminated by numerous lights, creating a fantastic space📸

The upside-down view reflected on the water surface was also outstanding!
※The contrast between the garden and the lanterns was a truly "Japanese" landscape

It's amazing that the admission fee is free for this 🙏
A stroll through the gardens on a long autumn night 🚶
I felt a little of winter coming 😌
