As the name suggests, it aims to introduce the great people from Kanazawa. The permanent exhibition is divided into seven parts, introducing the life and achievements of great people who supported Japan's modernization.

Such as: Takamine Shokichi (chemist), Kimura Saeki (astronomer), Hatakeyama Yoichi (civil engineer), Miyake Shisei (lecturer), Fujioka Sakutaro (Japanese writer), Nishida Kitaro (philosopher), Suzuki Daisetz (Buddhist philosopher), Nakanishi Godo (nature conservationist), Matsuda Goro (lacquer artist), Taniguchi Kiichiro (architect), Noguchi Jun (industrialist), etc.

At the Kanazawa Hometown Great People Museum, you can get in touch with the lives and achievements of great people who support modern Japan. From chemist Takamine Yoshikichi to astronomer Kimura Ei, their achievements have deeply influenced our lives.

Admission ticket is ¥310, and you can visit for free with the Cultural Forest Pass.
