Kanazawa's autumn foliage wonderland! I found the most beautiful autumn colors in one of Japan's Three Great Gardens 🍁
Amazing! I visited Kenrokuen Garden at the end of November last year, and the autumn foliage was breathtaking! This Japanese garden in Kanazawa is one of Japan's Three Great Gardens, with forests dyed in autumn colors, and every snapshot looks like wallpaper quality!
📍Address: 1 Kenrokumachi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture 920-0936
⏰Opening Hours: March to October 7:00-18:00; October to February 8:00-17:00 (last admission 30 minutes before closing)
📸Must-visit photo spots:
1️⃣ Kotoji Lantern: A classic check-in spot! The composition of red leaves + lantern + small bridge is perfect
2️⃣ Plum Grove: Autumn maple leaves beautifully complement the traditional Japanese architecture
🚶♀️Recommended route:
1️⃣ Enter from Katsurazaka Gate ➡️ Shiguretei
Experience traditional Japanese matcha tea in a classic tea house
2️⃣ Rainbow Bridge ➡️ Kotoji Lantern
Popular autumn foliage photo route, best to visit early morning when fewer people
3️⃣ Kasuminoike Pond
A stunning view of red leaves reflected in the pond!
🍁Best viewing period: Mid to late November (varies slightly each year)
⚠️Tips: It’s recommended to enter before 8 AM for fewer crowds, better light, and excellent photo opportunities!
