The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa was established in 2004. It won the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Architecture Biennale a month before its opening. The main design concept came from female architect Kazuyo Sejima.
Kanazawa Museum of Art inherits the transparent elements of Kazuyo Kajima, and its exterior walls are made of transparent glass or colored transparent glass. When the lights are turned on at night, the glittering light creates a sense of mystery, like a UFO. Therefore, many residents come here for a walk after dinner, and many people also choose this place as their wedding venue.
The swimming pool in the museum is the most famous design. Whether you look from above or below the swimming pool, you will have the illusion that people are living in the water. When I went there, there was a long queue on the floor below the swimming pool, but it was still worth it. The exhibition part is also very exciting, be sure to make time to visit!
