If you come to Kanchanaburi and don't visit the giant rain tree, it's like you haven't been to Kanchanaburi. Another important landmark of Kanchanaburi, which is large and more than 100 years old, has a wooden bridge in a circle around the tree to help prevent tourists from stepping on the tree's roots or scraping their luck according to beliefs. There is also a beautiful garden with flowers and ornamental plants, which is very shady and cool under the giant rain tree. However, on the day we went, there were quite a few people because it was a holiday. After walking around the garden, looking at the trees, and taking pictures for a while, we came out. Inside the area in front of the entrance to the rain tree, there is an area selling souvenirs, local products of the community, and drinking water. We bought a lot of snacks: fresh spring rolls, meatballs, other fruits, sweet and delicious coconut water that was cold and awesome. There are also many parking spots. If you pass by, stop by and visit.
