Here comes the ultimate Western Sichuan route with no backtracking! Blue skies, snow mountains, Tibetan villages... every day is a visual feast. Don't miss this travel guide~
🚗Day 1: Chengdu - Kangding - Zheduo Mountain - Xinduqiao
▪️Depart early from Chengdu, 4-hour direct drive to Kangding, the city of love songs is super photogenic🎶
▪️Cross Zheduo Mountain (altitude 4,298m), remember to bring oxygen tanks! The prayer flags at the summit are breathtaking📸
▪️Stay overnight in Xinduqiao, the photography paradise. Recommend "Waiting for Maple" homestay with Mount Gongga right outside the window
🌊Day 2: Xinduqiao - Tagong Grassland - Mo'ersi Park - Danba
▪️Horse riding on Tagong Grassland is exhilarating (¥50/hour) with Yala Snow Mountain right in front🏔
▪️Mo'ersi Park looks like an alien planet, the black-gray stone forest is awe-inspiring (¥60 ticket)
▪️Arrive at Danba Tibetan Village in the evening. Staying at "Ancient Watchtower Romance" Tibetan-style homestay is full of atmosphere
🏡Day 3: Danba - Siguniang Mountain - Chengdu
▪️Visit Jiaju Tibetan Village in the morning (¥50 ticket), the staggered watchtowers are super photogenic📷
▪️Easy exploration of Shuangqiao Valley (¥150 for ticket + shuttle), must-visit spots: Redwood Forest and Budala Peak
▪️Stop by Maobiliang Viewpoint on the return trip for a panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain - totally worth it!
⚠️Western Sichuan Travel Tips:
1️⃣Don't push through altitude sickness! Take Rhodiola in advance and carry glucose
2️⃣Extreme temperature differences between day and night - bring a down jacket even in July
3️⃣Sunscreen + sunglasses + hat are essential - the UV rays are unbelievably strong
4️⃣Respect local customs: no shorts in temples, prayer wheels must be turned clockwise
