Tagong Grassland, located in Kangding City, Sichuan Province, China, sits at an altitude of approximately 3,700 meters above sea level. This vast expanse is surrounded by pristine nature and authentic Tibetan culture. Near the entrance to the grassland lies the Muya Monastery, renowned for its hundreds of stupas beautifully arranged, creating a breathtaking and sacred landscape. At the entrance, local Tibetan residents offer horseback riding services, allowing visitors to explore the grassland while experiencing the charm of the expansive nature and local lifestyle up close.
The recommended time to visit is in the evening, as the view becomes particularly stunning. The evening sunlight bathes the peaks of the Yala Snow Mountain in a golden glow, creating a picturesque scene akin to a painting. Additionally, the temperature during this time is pleasantly cool, making it ideal for strolling, sightseeing, and photography. Given the high altitude of Tagong Grassland, the air remains fresh and pure throughout the day.
Entrance fee: 35 Yuan
