When I stepped into Kaohsiung again after the epidemic, I found many more unique attractions. The first time I walked into Pier 2, I was really impressed. The original facilities here have been well utilized and converted into a very distinctive art district.
During this visit to Pier-2, I happened to encounter an exhibition called "Jurassic X Dinosaur Snow World" (P2 Warehouse, Pier-2 Art District), which focuses on viewing Jurassic dinosaurs in a sub-zero ice and snow space. Although the tickets are a little expensive, it is still fun to take the kids on a zero-degree trip in the hot summer.
After buying the ticket and entering, the staff will ask if you need to rent a down jacket and shoes. It is recommended that you borrow them because it is really cold if you stay inside for a long time, especially for children.
To be honest, the realism of the dinosaurs inside is just average, but the kids were very excited walking on the snow, and there were also some mini-games to play, such as digging bones and ice slides. The part with the longest queue is the ice off-road vehicle driving part, but because the driving distance is quite short, it only takes about 15-20 minutes to queue. We tried every game, took photos everywhere, checked in, and finally left after playing for more than an hour.
If you happen to be at Pier 2 and have plenty of time and want to do something special, you might want to check out this exhibition. The exhibition is open until October!
