🏞️ Kaohsiung Chengcing Lake Day Tour 🗺️

Another day of walking to the water ~ This is probably the last day of traveling to Taiwan during this period! This time we came to Chengcing Lake Scenic Area in Kaohsiung. Chengcing Lake is the largest lake in Kaohsiung City. Besides being open for sightseeing, part of it is used as a reservoir.

There is a 7-kilometer lakeside trail in the park, and many uncles and aunts are walking on the trail, enjoying the clear blue lakeside scenery. There is also a barbecue area in the park. When we went there, it was during the long weekend, and the barbecue area was full of people having a meal, it was very lively.

We drove here, so we toured the area quickly, and finally got off the car and walked around Phu Quoc Island. After passing the bell tower and the suspension bridge, we arrived at Phu Quoc Island, where a stone monument was erected to commemorate the isolated army of the Republic of China in Vietnam. This island is the closest to the center of Chengcing Lake. There were many people enjoying the cool air in the pavilion on the island. Staring at the lake makes me feel so relaxed. It feels like the time I've been traveling between Taiwan and Hong Kong has been like a dream. After a short rest, we got on the bus and prepared to go to Zuoying Station to take the high-speed rail back to the north and fly back to Hong Kong.
