Hidden Street Art in Kaohsiung

Not far from the National Kaohsuing Centre for the Arts are a couple of blocks that have been completely covered in murals, by artists from all over the world.

The scale and vibrancy of the murals was a complete surprise., in this otherwise quiet and calm neighbourhood. We didn’t see anybody else walking around, and only locals going about their day to day activity. Almost every building facade has been decorated! 🎨

How to get there?🚊Search Maps for WeiWu Mei Mei village, and cycle or take the metro. It’s just a 5 minute walk from the National Centre of the Arts.

This colourful neighbourhood takes about 20 mins to walk around.
