#Taipei Itinerary
Day 1: Mountain and Sea Scenery and City Heritage
In the morning, we set off for the Xiziwan Scenic Area in Kaohsiung. Even though the main axis of this trip is Taipei, the charming mountain and sea scenery is really irresistible. Here, you can feel the sea breeze and appreciate the blue sea and red brick buildings against the backdrop of the sunset, especially the British Consulate next to Xizi Bay, which is quaint and romantic. In the afternoon, I took the high-speed rail back to Taipei and went directly to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The broad square and solemn building made people ponder the weight of history. Take an evening stroll along Yongkang Street and end your dinner with Taipei’s famous beef noodles.
Day 2: The fusion of city and nature
The next morning, we climbed up Yangmingshan National Park to experience the natural scenery of the suburbs of Taipei. The dense mountain forest is mixed with the smell of sulfur, and the steam from the hot spring pool adds warmth to the winter. In the afternoon, we arrived at the Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Industry Park, where the exhibitions, cultural and creative products and cafes showed the youthful and vibrant side of Taipei. Finally, we went to Shilin Night Market to taste a variety of snacks, bringing this two-day trip to Taipei to a perfect end. Although this trip incorporates the exotic mountain and sea scenery of Xiziwan, Taipei's history and modern charm are still dazzling, leaving a deep memory of the city.
