Cool Temples

#springitinerary Lotus Pond is basically a wild mix of chill lake views, super colorful temples, and some of the coolest, most extra pagodas you’ll ever see. First off, the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are iconic, you walk in through the dragon’s mouth and out the tiger’s, which is supposed to flip your bad luck into good. Inside, it’s all murals of heaven, hell, and random life advice.
Then you've got the Spring and Autumn Pavilions, which are just as dramatic. They’re sitting right on the water, with this huge statue of Guanyin riding a dragon between them, super photogenic, especially at sunset.
And the whole area is full of random temples to check out as you stroll along the lake. You don’t even have to be into temples to enjoy it, there’s just something super relaxing about the combo of bright colors, reflections on the water, and the low-key energy.
