Introducing Nanjing Yunjin Museum

Nanjing Yunjin Museum, located at No. 240, Chating East Street, Jianye District, Nanjing, is the only professional Yunjin museum in China. It mainly displays Chinese national brocade art represented by Nanjing Yunjin and is one of the "New Jinling Forty-eight Scenic Spots".

The museum's first floor houses a Yunjin product sales area, while the second floor features models of various looms and a physical display of Yunjin weaving techniques. Yunjin gifts, meticulously woven according to traditional techniques, exude a sense of elegance, luxury, and solemnity.

Over the past 40 years, through the unremitting efforts of several generations of scientific researchers, the Yunjin Research Institute has collected and preserved 970 professional physical materials for display (a considerable number of which are important historical relics), more than 2,000 Yunjin drawings (including the "Hanfu Manuscripts" left by the former official weaving bureau), and more than 58,000 volumes of professional books and materials.
