Kaohsiung Pier-2 Art Center

From Sanduo Shopping District, you can walk to the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center and take the light rail (in the forward direction). You can choose to get off at Dayi Station at Pier-2, explore the Dayi Warehouse, take photos at Dagang Bridge, and enjoy the large grassy area at Dayi Park. If you visit in May, you might catch the French Market there! For the return trip, you can take the light rail to Hamasen Station and then transfer to the MRT to head back to the city.

Inside Dayi Warehouse, there are various shops and exhibition halls selling different souvenirs. There are also unique restaurants and coffee shops. May weather in Kaohsiung is extremely hot! After spending some time outdoors, you’ll definitely need to sit indoors, take a break, and enjoy a drink or coffee. Spending a leisurely half-day here is absolutely doable.
