Today we drove to Meinong for afternoon tea. Nongtian, the most popular afternoon tea dessert shop in Meinong, Kaohsiung, is incredibly delicious and highly recommended. Located on a small country road, there's a luxurious guesthouse in front. Entering the house is a green space with a red-brick courtyard. Nongtian Dessert Shop doesn't take reservations. The high ceilings and large windows on two walls offer a breathtaking view of lush green rice paddies and a blue sky. The cakes are freshly made, and there's a wide variety. We ordered (Black Tea Chiffon Cake) and (Sesame Chiffon Cake) along with two iced lattes. It was a very relaxing afternoon tea. The setting is wonderful, and the desserts are delicious. Highly recommended.
