The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center, located in Kaohsiung City, is one of the largest and most important Buddhist centers in Taiwan.

It covers a vast area, covering almost the entire mountain. It first opened to the public in late 2011.

Its highlight is the large seated bronze Buddha statue, visible from afar. Inside, there is a museum showcasing the life of the Buddha.

Chinese-style pagodas flank the walkways, creating a grand and imposing atmosphere.
