Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum is a large Buddhist park housing a large bronze Buddha statue, considered one of the tallest seated Buddhas in the world.

It was built in 2008 and officially opened to the public in 2011.

It aims to serve as a religious center for Mahayana Buddhism, spreading Buddhist culture and beliefs, as well as the history and teachings of the Buddha.

The museum is spacious and well-organized. It may take 3-4 hours to explore, but there are restaurants serving delicious vegetarian food.

To get there, start at Zuoying. Public transportation is available, but it's recommended to rent a car for more convenience or book a one-day trip from trip.com.
