When traveling to a city like Tokyo, it is best to relax at a nearby attraction. Karuizawa is only an hour away from Tokyo by Shinkansen, which is a very convenient combination.

Karuizawa is a great place to relax. After arriving in Karuizawa, you can rent a bicycle and ride slowly to different scenic spots under the shade of trees, such as the Stone Church, Kumoba Pond, etc., and then arrange to go shopping at the outlets in Karuizawa. This time I went to the scenic spots in the morning, and went to the outlets for a meal at noon before going shopping. I felt that I could not finish visiting this outlet. There are many things sold in the outlet in Tokyo, and 4 to 5 hours of shopping are not enough. Next time I must stop by and have a good look around!
