At Hoshinoya Karuizawa, you can experience an exceptional stay surrounded by nature and culture in the autumnal beauty of Karuizawa, where the foliage is beautifully colored.

The hotel features independent guest rooms scattered across the water and forest, creating an extraordinary atmosphere reminiscent of a 'valley village.'

We stayed in the hotel's most popular room, "Mizunami Room." The room has a spacious terrace that opens up to the hotel's garden. During the autumn foliage season, the garden is stunningly beautiful, and stepping outside, you can hear the sound of flowing water and birds chirping, which is incredibly soothing.

The autumn-exclusive experience "Autumn Moon Banquet" offers a nightly event where the waterside garden is illuminated by moonlight and lanterns, creating a magical ambiance to enjoy the long autumn nights. Sweet sake was served as moon-viewing sake 🌕, and electric blankets were provided, allowing us to stay comfortable outdoors 🍁. The serene time immersed in nature was a perfect indulgence for adults.

The exclusive bathing facilities for guests offered a unique experience, including meditation. The "Dragonfly Bath" is also open to guests during the morning hours ♨️, providing a rejuvenating moment in an open-air bath surrounded by autumn foliage.

Since the hotel offers various seasonal experiences, it's recommended to check in early! Also, note that the lighting inside the hotel and rooms is dim, so be careful to avoid injuries.
