Sisiiwa House: A Hotel with Stunning Architecture

During my trip to Karuizawa, I stayed at Sisiiwa House.

Designed by Shigeru Ban, the hotel boasts captivating architecture. The shared library space features a curated selection of 200 books, which guests are welcome to bring to their rooms and enjoy.

In the lounge, you can savor coffee and tea.

I stayed in a one-room accommodation, and the hinoki cypress bath was incredibly relaxing. Although the room was compact, it was spacious enough for two people.

Staying at this beautiful hotel provided a truly soothing and rejuvenating experience.
