Located in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachinokuni Izumo Taisha Shrine was founded by enshrining a branch of the Izumo Taisha Shrine in Shimane Prefecture.
Enshrining Okuninushi-no-Okami, known as the god of matchmaking, the shrine is bustling with worshippers praying for good relationships and better fortune.

The shrine grounds are particularly eye-catching: Japan's largest shimenawa rope, measuring 16 meters in length and weighing 6 tons!
Its impressive appearance makes it a photo spot you'll want to gaze up at and snap a photo of. 📸

The shrine's beautiful scenery changes with the seasons, allowing visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in autumn.
