[Saitama Prefecture] The birthplace of the straw song "Toryanse"

Miyoshino Shrine⛩️
𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃
It started when Ota Dokan built Kawagoe Castle and made Miyoshino Shrine the guardian deity of Kawagoe.
It was rebuilt by Sakai Tadakatsu, the lord of the castle, in 1624.

The main deities, Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Inadahime, are said to have been enshrined from Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine in Omiya, and the secondary deity, Sugawara no Michizane, was enshrined from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.

It is said to be the birthplace of the children's song "Toryanse," and is a shrine revered by the locals as Yushima Tenjin in Edo and Miyoshino Tenjin in Koedo.

It is a spacious and open shrine, so I was able to visit at a leisurely pace.
