A sacred tree over 2,000 years old

"Kimiya Shrine" is located in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is one of the famous power shrines in Japan. The sacred tree "Okasu" in the shrine is over 2,000 years old and has been designated as a national natural monument. It is said that walking around the trunk of the tree can extend one year of life, so there is an endless stream of tourists who come here to pray for longevity, recovery from illness, and improved health.
