I went to Amaterasu Omikami, a historic shrine founded in the Genko era at the end of the Kamakura period⛩️

It is located about a 15-minute walk from Shinkawasaki Station, on the hill of Kaseyama, where Yumemigasaki Zoo is located🌸

If the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji from the shrine grounds, which is a great spot❕

Many families and foreign tourists visited the shrine👀

The grounds are small, but there is a stone statue in front of the main hall, giving the shrine a sense of history🌱

This shrine is associated with Ota Dokan and Hojo Ujiyasu, and is located on the hilltop of the naturally rich Yumemigasaki Zoo, with a great view. Many worshippers came to seek blessings such as protection from evil, safe childbirth, and safety in the home🥰
