The Friendship Arch Rocks

#summervacay The Friendship Arch (aka Арка Дружбы Народов) is one of those “wait, what is this doing here?!” kind of places, and I loved it. It’s this huge colorful stone arch plopped right on the edge of a cliff in the middle of the Caucasus Mountains. Super random, super cool.

The mural inside is massive and super detailed, bright, bold, kinda trippy, and packed with history (if you’re into that). But let’s be real: the main reason to go is the view. Like, wow. The mountains go on forever, and the valley below looks fake, it’s that pretty. I could’ve stood there forever just taking it in.

There are also some little souvenir stands and snacks nearby, which was nice after the twisty road getting there. And if you're feeling wild, there’s sometimes a swing or paragliding happening nearby!

It’s a quick stop but totally worth it. Feels like a strange art piece dropped into jaw dropping nature. Georgia really knows how to mix the unexpected with the unforgettable.
