Shaanxi Foping National Nature Reserve is located in Foping County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. Foping Reserve is the area with the highest distribution density of wild giant panda populations and the best habitat for giant pandas in the world. It is also the hope for the reproduction and expansion of wild giant panda populations.

The Foping National Nature Reserve has also been designated a National Youth Science Education Base and a Shaanxi Normal University Field Teaching Experimental Base. It has also developed multi-level and multi-faceted collaborations with numerous research institutions. In 2014, the Shaanxi Provincial Forestry Department designated it a "Youth Science Exploration Route," where it conducts environmental education activities for appropriate-age youth.

The Foping Nature Reserve is also an ideal location for filming promotional videos about giant pandas. Because the reserve's topography is relatively flat compared to other distribution areas, giant pandas are distributed more regularly and densely, making them easier to spot and photograph at specific times and locations. Consequently, over the past 20 years, CCTV, the BBC, and NHK have captured many stunning and breathtaking images, showcasing the lives and reproduction of wild giant pandas and my country's strenuous efforts to protect them.

The Donghe, Xihe, Dachenghao, and Lüguanhe rivers flow into the area, with Heilongtan Waterfall being its largest. The beautiful natural environment is home to a variety of animals and birds, and the dense forests are interspersed with a network of rivers, birdsong, and the fragrance of flowers create a delicate and beautiful scene.
